I'm taking a shower!

During our stay in Brown County for Jason's fall IEHA conference we discovered the cabin only had showers...which Jack really enjoyed!

Seriously?

So as I've been going back through these posts I can't believe what a crazy summer this has been. We have pretty much been on the go non stop this summer which is crazy in and of itself, but when you factor in Graham's arrival at the end of May...it makes it that much more crazy. I can't believe we managed all this with a newborn! Let's back track and take a look at what little Graham has already gotten to experience in his short life.

Week 1: Graham comes home from the hospital on "Race Day"
Week 2: Travels to Plainfield to meet his Great Grandparents, goes bowling with toddlers
Week 3: First trip to Children's Museum and first appearance at Grandparent's lake cottage
Week 4: Travels to Connersville to meet Thomas and visits Traders Point Creamery
Week 5: San Fransisco Ravenscrofts fly in and Graham goes back to the lake cottage
Week 6: Meets Emily and Barrett, goes swimming at Y, plays at Chuck E Cheese's
Week 7: Travels to WI to meet May Moms, goes to Indian's game
Week 8: Travels to MI for Canoe Weekend
Week 9: Back to lake cottage and visits the Indiana State Fair
Week 10: Visits Strole grandparents at cemetery and 2 more fair trips
Week 11:
Week 12:
Week 13: Walk to Broad Ripple and picnic at park
Week 14: Road real train to Tipton, IN
Week 15:
Week 16: Back to lake cottage and Indianapolis Zoo

And these are just the "big" events. I know I'm missing other museum, zoo and library trips. I mean seriously? This kid has done more in four months than some adults their entire life.

Jackisms

Two year olds can say some funny stuff. Jack really keeps us smiling these days with what comes out of his mouth. Here are just a few of the things he says that we get a kick out of:

"Spit it out" when Jason pretends to eat a piece of Jack
"I play five more minutes" for everything
"I just need a snack" at bedtime
"I'm running as fast as I can" when chasing you
"I do it by myself" again, for everything
"You play with me?" daily
"That's enough Daddy" when he's had enough of Jason's shenanigans
"I call you" in the mornings when he's ready to get out of bed
"Yabba yabba light turn green" Abracadabra...his magical way of turning red lights green
"Where's Cousin Tyler?/ Is Cousin Tyler coming?" when someone is coming over
"That's nonsense" Ashley taught him to say it
"Yeah, I can" when he wants you to know, yes he can...

It makes me sad to think that one day we won't remember all the cute things he said when he was learning to talk.
